Date and Number Validations for General Ledger Descriptive Flexfields
You can define date and number validations when setting up your Oracle General Ledger descriptive flexfields. These validations ensure the information captured using these additional fields is more accurate and consistent.
Here are the General Ledger flexfields that support both the date and number data types.

You can define validations on up to five date and five number columns.
The column names for the Date data type are ATTRIBUTE_DATE1 through ATTRIBUTE_DATE5 and the column names for the Number data type are ATTRIBUTE_NUMBER1 through ATTRIBUTE_NUMBER5. For the Journals Captured Information descriptive flexfield, the date columns are ATTRIBUTE_DATE6 through ATTRIBUTE_DATE10 and the number columns are ATTRIBUTE_NUMBER6 through ATTRIBUTE_NUMBER10.
