Guidelines for Performing Immaterial Changes

When you perform an immaterial change on an accounting contract, keep these points in mind:

• The application processes the entire contract as an immaterial change if all of the changes processed at the same time are marked as immaterial.
• The application processes the entire contract as a material change if the revisions to the existing contract consist of a mix of material and immaterial changes.
• If you process multiple revisions at the same time, the application sets the contract revision date to the earliest revision date for the purpose of revenue reallocation.
• Accounting contracts with immaterial changes aren't eligible for processing by the Discard Customer Contracts process.
