What happens if I enter customer information that already exists?

If you have Data Quality installed, the Trading Community Model manages the control of duplicate and redundant party information.

If you enter party information resembling or matching existing information, then depending on your setup you're prompted in different ways to manage this information.

This can include:

• Prevention of data entry.

• Inclusion with confirmation of data entry.

• Review and selection of matching or similar data.
