Associate a Business Unit with a Source Legal Reporting Unit

You must associate the legal reporting unit from where the asset is transferred with the business unit that generates the asset transfer fiscal document. The Manage Fiscal Document Generation Controls task uses this configuration to obtain the business unit that is associated with the source legal reporting unit.

Follow these steps:

1. From the Setup and Maintenance work area, navigate to the Manage Associated Business Entities task.
2. Click Selected Scope.
3. In the Legal Entity field, select the source legal entity of the asset transfer.
4. In the Legal Reporting Unit field, select the source legal reporting unit of the asset transfer.
5. Click Apply and Go to Task.
6. Click Add Row.
7. Enter these values:

   Field	Value
   Type	Business Unit
   Name	Select the business unit associated with the source legal reporting unit.
   Start Date	Enter the start date of the record.

8. Click Save and Close.
