You can create an AutoInvoice Transaction source that controls the default information assigned to a transaction and determine whether AutoInvoice automatically numbers your transactions.
- From the Setup and Maintenance work area, navigate to the Manage Transaction Sources task.
- In the Manage Transaction Sources page, click Create.
- In the Create Transaction Source page, select the transaction source set as the reference data set of the transaction source.
- Enter the name and description.
- Select the type as Imported, which is the type required by AutoInvoice.
- Select the Active check box.
- Enter the start date of the record in the From Date field.
- In the Source Details region, select the Automatic transaction numbering check box.
- In the AutoInvoice Options region, select the invalid line as Reject Invoice.
- Select the grouping rule created in Configure an AutoInvoice Grouping Rule topic.
- In the Import Information sub-regions, for each import option, select ID to import records into the interface tables using the internal identifier of the record.
- Click Save and Close.
