Overview of Observed Standalone Selling Prices

Oracle Revenue Management provides two methods for managing and calculating observed standalone selling prices:

• Use the Manage Observed Standalone Selling Prices to manage and automatically calculate observed standalone selling prices. You create them by submitting the Calculate Observed Standalone Selling Prices process.
• Use the Manage Standalone Selling Prices spreadsheet to query, review, and edit standalone selling prices. You can access the spreadsheet from the task pane in the Revenue Management Overview page.

Standalone sales represent single item sales that can be used to calculate observed standalone selling prices for that item. A logical grouping of standalone sales forms the basis for the calculation of an observed standalone selling price. The grouping is done by running the Calculate Observed Standalone Selling Prices process.
