How can I create custom mileage add-on rates?

Besides using the add-on rate types that come with the application, you can create your own add-on rates to suit your business requirements.

Create new add-on rate types using the EXM_ADDITIONAL_RATES lookup type. Here's how you can do it:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the following:

   • Offering: Financials

   • Functional Area: Expenses

   • Task: Manage Standard Lookups

2. Search for the EXM_ADDITIONAL_RATES lookup type.

3. In the Lookup Codes section, click the New icon and create your additional rate types.

You can access these rate types in the rates spreadsheet that opens when you click Create Rates on the Edit Mileage Policy page.
