Reevaluate Routing Rules During Receipt Remittance

Reevaluate routing rules for direct debit transactions during receipt remittance. Receipts can be routed using different routing rules if user changes the remittance bank account on the receipt during remittance. For this feature, you can enable the setup in Manage Funds Capture Process Profile.

Users can select 2 different accounts for creating receipts and for the actual remittance. When the receipt creation uses authorization for direct debits, the routing rules are evaluated at the time of receipt creation. However, these routing rules remain the same for the transactions that follow. If the user selects a different bank account for remittance, the routing rules must be reevaluated.

To enable reevaluation of routing rules, perform the following steps:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Funds Capture Process Profiles task.

    • Offering: Financials

    • Functional area: Payments

    • Task: Manage Funds Capture Process Profiles

  2. Select Bank account as the processing type.

    Note: Reevaluation of routing rules is currently available only for bank accounts.
  3. In the Settlement section, select Reevaluate routing rules.

Note: If the direct debit authorization isn't enabled, enabling the reevaluation of routing rules has no effect.
