Set Up the Joint Venture System Options with the Descriptive Flexfield Attribute

In the Joint Venture System Options, specify the descriptive flexfield that you will use to associate joint ventures to projects in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Management.

You must be a user with the Joint Venture Application Administrator role to perform this task.

  1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance and select the Joint Venture Management functional area under the Financials offering.
  2. Click the Manage Joint Venture System Options task.
  3. Scroll down to the Project Descriptive Flexfield Association section.

    If the section or the fields in this section aren’t visible, you need to enable the Project Descriptive Flexfield Association option as described in the first task.

  4. Click the Project Attribute drop-down list and select the attribute that you specified for descriptive flexfield in the preceding task.
  5. Click Save.

  6. The Description displays the name of the descriptive flexfield.

    Note: It’s possible to select an attribute in the Project Attribute field before the attribute has been defined in the descriptive flexfield in Oracle Project Management. In this case, the application displays a message reminding you that the project attribute hasn’t been defined.
