Here's when a customer account gets updated with the promise to pay information:

Whenever the promise to pay request is submitted it's immediately recorded and updated.
Note: You can configure an automatic confirmation letter
sent to you for every submitted promise to pay request.

Whenever you run Promise Reconciliation program. You can assign the promise to pay request status as Fulfilled or Broken based on the promise date.
