Bank Charge Bearer Codes

The bearer of bank charge costs. It's a payment attribute that you can select while submitting a payment process request.

Here are the values you can select as the bank charge bearer code.

Bank Charge Bearer Code	Description
Payee	Payee (one who's receiving the payment) bears all the bank charges.
Payer	Payer (one who's making the payment) bears all the bank charges.
Shared	The payer bears the bank charges on the sender's side. Similarly, the payee bears the bank charges on the receiver's side.
Following Service Level	The rules laid out in the service level agreement or the scheme determine how the bank charges are applied.
Payee Pays Express Charges	The payee bears the bank charges for express services.
