How Payment Status Bell Notifications Are Displayed

You can submit a payment batch for straight through processing or you can stop and review the payment process at various stages.

When the payment batch stops for required action or when the payment processing is complete, you conveniently receive a payment status bell notification.

Settings That Affect Payment Status Bell Notifications

Payment status bell notifications are activated by selecting any of the following check boxes on the Submit Payment Process Request page, Processing Options section:

  • Review installments

  • Review proposed payments

  • Create payment files immediately

How Payment Status Bell Notifications Are Displayed

Payment status bell notifications are displayed:

  • When the payment process request stops at a milestone or waits for your required action

  • If you select any of three processing option check boxes when you submit a payment process request

Selection of any processing option check box causes the payment process to stop for review, which causes the payment status bell notification to display. The payment status bell notification has a link in it that you can click to take you to the page that requires action.

Payment status bell notifications:

  • Display when the payment process request stops for your required action

  • Provide links so you can navigate to the applicable page

  • Disappear when the link in the notification is clicked

Tip: Payment status bell notifications aren't displayed to notify you of report availability.
