What can I do if my handwritten tip didn't show up in the receipt total while creating an expense?

Sometimes, the optical scanner picks up the printed amount from your meal or taxi receipt, but it doesn't include your handwritten tip in the total.

If you used a corporate credit card for the expense, you don't need to correct the amount that Expense Assistant captured. Expense Assistant will accommodate a tip for up to 20% more than the printed records on your receipt.

If you paid with your personal card, you must ensure the expense total you entered in Expense Assistant includes the tip.
