Journal

Service to load journals for import into Oracle Fusion General Ledger. A journal records the accounting transactions for a ledger, including details about the accounts and amounts. Journal entries are usually recorded in chronological order using the double-entry method of bookkeeping. For example, sales revenues are recorded in a journal entry that increases sales dollars and increases accounts receivable. Cash receipts from customers result in a journal entry that increases the cash balance and reduces accounts receivable.
