Statuses of Combination Sets
You can control the lifecycle of your cross-validation combination sets using the Status attribute.
This table describes each status, when you might use it, and what status is available to use next.

Note: You can delete a combination set with this status by
using the Delete action.

Active |
Active | After you upload all the combinations and you’re ready for journals
and transactions to be validated against the combination set. Note: You can have only one active combination set for the
same set of validation segments. |
Inactive, Obsolete |
Inactive | You decide to temporarily remove the restrictions on new account
combinations. Note: You can have only one inactive
combination set for the same set of validation
segments. |
Active, Obsolete |
Obsolete | You decide to permanently remove the restrictions on new account
combinations. Caution: When you set the status to
Obsolete, the combination set and all its combinations will be
deleted from the application. |

Note: To use combination sets for validating transactions, you must enable
auditing on cross-validation combination sets using the Manage Audit Policies
task.
