Review of Transactions and Transaction Activities
Use the Manage Transactions page to view detailed or summary information about your invoices, credit memos, debit memos, and chargebacks.
In the Search section of the Manage Transactions page, use the Basic and Advanced search criteria to display the transactions you want.
In the Search Results table, you can click on a transaction number to open the transaction in a Review Transaction page. You can also select a transaction row and use the Actions menu to perform other activities on the transaction.

Review Installments
Select a transaction row, then select Review Installments from the Actions menu to open the Review Installments window. Use the Review Installments window to review the installments on transactions that have split payment terms. Each row displays the due date, installment amount, and balance due.
If the AR: Update Due Date profile option is set to Yes, you can perform these actions on installments:

Update the due date on an installment. If you update a due date, this recalculates the days late and due days for the installment based on the new due date.

Update the unpaid portion of an installment.

Add or delete installments.
View Balance Details
Select a transaction row, then select View Balance Details from the Actions menu to open the Balance Details window. View complete information for a specific transaction, including the original transaction amount; the total amount of payments against the transaction; any credits, refunds, adjustments, prepayments, or charges applied to the transaction; and any discounts taken. You can view transaction amounts in the Entered Currency or Accounted Currency.
The Balance Details window indicates the receipt, credit, or discount that was applied to the transaction, and the type of adjustments that were created. For example, a single transaction might have two adjustments against it, one of type Charges and another of type Freight. Similarly, the transaction might have one credit memo applied against it at the line level and another at the tax level.
The Balance Details window displays the total amount of each action affecting a transaction in the Total column and displays how the line, tax, freight, and charge balances were affected in the Balance row.
View Transaction Activities
Select a transaction row, then select View Transaction Activities from the Actions menu to open the View Transaction Activities window. Use this window to view all activities that have taken place against a specific invoice, credit memo, or debit memo. You can drill down to view the details of each activity.
There are three activity classes that identify activity against transactions:

Payment: Any payment made against the transaction balance.

Credit Memo: Any credit memo applied to the transaction.

Adjustment: Any adjustment made to the transaction balance.
All amounts are in the currency of the particular activity.
Review Project and Contract Transactions
You can search for and review invoices and credit memos that originate from project and contract transactions. The information includes for each transaction: Project Number, Contract Number, Letter of Credit (LOC) Number, and Letter of Credit (LOC) Document Number.
You search for and review these transactions in the context of the Contracts and Projects source.
To select and review project and contract transactions:
- Navigate to the Manage Transactions page.
- In the Search section, click the Advanced button.
- In the Transaction Source field, enter CONTRACT INVOICES.
- If necessary, in the Project Number, Contract Number, LOC Number, and LOC Document Number fields, enter the search criteria you want.
- Click the Search button.
- In the Search Results table, select View > Columns to expose the Project Number, Contract Number, LOC Number, and LOC Document Number columns.
Review Lease Accounting Transactions
Review and update invoices and credit memos generated in Receivables for lease transactions created in Lease Accounting.
You generate and manage lease transactions in Receivables to process the billing and accounting of revenue lease accruals. The Receivables transactions store the accounting distributions of the Lease Accounting transactions imported into Receivables.
You can generate bills in Receivables for Lease Accounting transactions and deliver customer invoices using the Receivables delivery methods Paper, Email, or XML.
You can also process customer payments and manage accounts receivable balances and period close reconciliation on the Lease Accounting transactions using Receivables.
The Lease Accounting transactions generated in Receivables contain these predefined setup elements:
- ORA_Lease Accounting Transaction transaction source.
- ORA_Lease Invoice and ORA_Lease Credit transaction types.
