Simplified Rules Configuration

The Simplified Workflow Rules Configuration provides an easy-to-use, spreadsheet-based method to create workflow rules for many features including the Payables Invoice Approval and General Ledger Journal Approval Workflows.

Each workflow that is currently supported by this feature has a set of sample template. For instance, the Invoice Approval Workflow has four templates available for download. Each of these templates uses the same base template for rule creation. However, each template contains a set of rules for different use cases, a summary of which is available in the Instructions worksheet of the template.
