SAM Integration with Oracle Receivables

The SAM integration in Oracle U.S. Federal Financials creates or updates Receivables objects with data from SAM.

The SAM integration creates or updates these Receivables objects:

  • Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in the Accounts section of the customer record

  • Taxpayer identifier in the Party section of the customer record

  • Country and address fields and bank account information in the Customer Account Site section of the customer record

  • Bank branch number and branch type in the Banks window

  • Account number, account type, and account owner in the Bank Accounts window

Customer account and customer account site-level global descriptive flexfields are used to populate the SAM details.

Users can’t change the information in the SAM fields.

Receivables also checks the customer account site controls at certain points during the invoicing and receipt processes.
