Delete Carried Interest Distributions

You can delete carried interest distributions in either of the following ways:

• By deleting standard distributions, which automatically deletes any associated carried interest distributions.
• Using the “Delete carried interest distributions” processing mode in the Create Joint Venture Distributions process to delete carried interest distributions directly.

Deleting carried interest distributions also deletes any associated penalty amounts and updates the related payout balances.

When deleting carried interest distributions directly, you can select one or more joint ventures or specify a carried interest agreement to determine which carried interest distributions to delete.

To delete carried interest distributions directly:

1. On the Home page, select Joint Venture Management, and then select Create Joint Venture Distributions from the Quick Actions list.
2. For the Processing Mode, select “Delete carried interest distributions.”
3. Complete these fields as needed:
   • Joint Venture
   • Carried Interest Agreement
   Caution: If you leave these fields blank, the process will delete all carried interest distributions for the joint ventures you have access to.
4. Select Submit.
