About the U.S. Federal Treasury Confirmation Assistant

Use the U.S. Federal Treasury Confirmation Assistant to confirm treasury payment schedules.

What this Assistant Supports

This assistant can:

• Validate Treasury payment acceptance data submitted by the user
• Update the Treasury payment schedule with the payment data such as control number, confirmation date, and payment number range
• Create the PAM summary schedule
• Confirm the PAM or SPS Treasury payment schedule with the user's approval

Note: This assistant doesn’t replace the Manage Treasury Payment Schedules page where you can manually submit and confirm schedules.

What this Assistant Doesn't Support

This assistant can't:

• Create payment process request and generate the payment schedule
• Send the payment schedule to Treasury
• Retrieve PAM payment acceptance data from Treasury
• Send the PAM summary schedule to Treasury
• Resolve validation errors on your behalf

Before You Start

Here are a few things you need to keep in mind before you use the assistant:

• The federal agency must be a Treasury Disbursing Office.
• You must enable U.S. Federal Financials and Payments on the Opt In page in Functional Setup Manager.
• You must have access to AI Agent Studio.
• You must use a U.S. Federal Financials general ledger.
• The assistant is available as a preconfigured template. Use the template to create your own assistant, configure security, test, and publish the assistant.
