Availability and Adoption Path

This topic describes adoption paths for existing Intelligent Document Recognition customers and new Payables Agent customers.

Customer Type	Adoption Path
Existing IDR Customers	Existing Intelligent Document Recognition customers can adopt Payables Agent without significant disruption. Payables Agent uses Document IO as the underlying invoice recognition engine while preserving existing invoice submission processes, existing mailboxes, and previously established adaptive learning. Existing adaptive learning remains available, and the transition to the new processing framework is automatic.
New Customers	New customers must activate Document Recognition and Processing Options before Payables Agent can process invoices. Activation enables supplier synchronization, purchase order synchronization, and invoice ingestion capabilities.
