Copying and Moving Tasks

To copy or move tasks:

  1. Click the Navigator icon Navigator icon, and then under Create and Manage, click Task Lists.

  2. Perform an action:

    To copy tasks:

    1. Select a task list, and then select Edit Task List icon.

    2. Select the task to copy, and then click Save As.

    3. Enter the name for the new task list, and then click OK.

    To move tasks:

    1. Select a task list, then select Edit Task List icon.

    2. Select a task, and then click Edit Task icon.

    3. Select the task that will be a child of another task, and then select Cut icon.

    4. Select the task that will be the parent task, and then select Paste icon.

    5. Click Save.

    To cut and paste tasks:

    1. Select a task list, and then click Edit Task icon.

    2. Select a task, and then click Cut icon.

    3. To move the task to a new position, select the task to appear above it.

    4. Click Paste icon.

    5. Click OK.
