How do I hide the author name for the knowledge articles that appear in Help Desk?
In My Help, the author name appears:
- In the articles listed under Browse Popular Articles
- Under the article name when viewing an article
Note: This answer is applicable to Fusion Service Knowledge
Management with Redwood User Experience, release 25A and higher.
To hide author names from knowledge articles:
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon, and click the Search link.
- Search for Manage Administrator Profile Values task and open it.
- In the Profile Option Code field, enter ORA_HELP_DESK_HIDE_KM_AUTHOR, and click Search.
- Set Profile Value to Yes.
- Click Save and Close.
Note: It can take up to 30 minutes for the changes to take
effect.
