How do I hide the author name for the knowledge articles that appear in Help Desk?

In My Help, the author name appears:

  • In the articles listed under Browse Popular Articles
  • Under the article name when viewing an article
Note: This answer is applicable to Fusion Service Knowledge Management with Redwood User Experience, release 25A and higher.

To hide author names from knowledge articles:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon, and click the Search link.
  2. Search for Manage Administrator Profile Values task and open it.
  3. In the Profile Option Code field, enter ORA_HELP_DESK_HIDE_KM_AUTHOR, and click Search.
  4. Set Profile Value to Yes.
  5. Click Save and Close.
Note: It can take up to 30 minutes for the changes to take effect.
