How do I enable dynamic links for email notifications in Help Desk?

Your administrator can add dynamic links so that recipients can drill directly into a Help Desk request from an email notification.

To enable this feature, ensure that the profile option ORA_SVC_ENABLE_DYNAMIC_LINKS_FOR_HELPDESK_NOTIFICATIONS is set to Yes.

In Setup and Maintenance, search for the Manage Service Request Dynamics Links task.

In the Manage Dynamic Links page:
  1. Click the object Service_Request_HRHD.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the business unit and enter the URL for the object detail page.

    To get the required URL, navigate to a help desk request from a different browser window and copy the URL. For example: https://fa-wzzd-pintlabfadev.fa.ocs.oc-test.com/fscmUI/redwood/helpdesk/edit-hrhd?srNumber=HRHD0000007026

  4. Remove everything in the URL after the question mark (?) and replace it with: (srNumber={0}.

    The final URL will look like this: https://fa-wzzd-pintlabfadev.fa.ocs.oc-test.com/fscmUI/redwood/helpdesk/edit-hrhd?srNumber={0}

Once this is completed, you want to configure a notification trigger for a Help Desk request.
