Configure Oracle Digital Assistant

In Oracle Digital Assistant, you create a DA as Agent channel that associates your digital assistant with the digital-assistant agent. When you enable the channel, the digital assistant is signed in as the digital-assistant agent and is ready to handle chat requests. When you complete this task initiated requests will route to ODA.

When configuring ODA as a digital assistant, follow the steps in DA as an Agent.

You'll perform these steps to complete the setup:
  • Create or update a Digital Assistant
  • Create or extend a Skill.
  • Create an Authentication Service for the Channel Service in IDCS
  • Create a Digital Assistant as Agent channel
  • Add the Digital Assistant to the channel

The ODA Channel that you set up will use this user to authenticate with IDCS and get the token to connect to chat service. To do this the currently synched user from Fusion Service should be made Federated = False and a new password should be assigned.

Here's how you make a user non-federated:
  1. From the IDCS homepage Navigate to Users.
  2. Locate the new user after the Fusion batch job has syncd new users to IDCS.
  3. Select Federated = No.
  4. Make sure the user’s email is a valid one that you can access.
  5. Click the Reset Password.

A password reset link is emailed to the email address of the user.

  6. Enter a new password complying with your policies
