How do I synchronize users and roles to Oracle Identity Cloud Service?

All Fusion users and roles are synchronized with Oracle Identity Cloud Service. That is, they exist in both Oracle Identity Cloud Service and Fusion Service applications. A scheduled process job synchronizes Fusion users with IDCS. However, if you don't want to wait for the job to run you can follow the steps outlined in this task.

There are two parts to performing a sync between your Fusion Service application and Oracle Identity Cloud Service. The first part must be done in the Fusion Service application. Make sure that your Channel Service (Chat) application is associated with your Oracle Identity Cloud Service.
Note: You must do the following after changing any users or roles.
To run the jobs, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to Tools > Scheduled Processes.

  2. Click Schedule New Process.

  3. In the Schedule New Process window, click the Name drop-down list, and select Search...

  4. Copy and paste Import User and Role Application Security Data in the Name field and click Search.

  5. Select the returned row and click OK, and then click OK again.

  6. In Process Details window, click Submit.

    The Import User and Role Application Security Data job will be run.

  7. Wait until the job succeeds before proceeding.
  8. Repeat steps 2-7 to run the job Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes.
  9. Repeat steps 2-7 to run the job Send Pending LDAP Requests.
  10. Click Save and Close.
