Navigate to Next Generation Work Orders

A work order can be any work performed at a customer site, like an installation, standard maintenance, or a repair request.

Here's how to create a work order:

  1. Go to the Home page and select Service tab.

  2. You can access work orders one of two ways:

    • In the list of Quick Actions, click My Open Work Orders callout (2a).

      or

    • Click the Work Orders (Next Generation) tile (callout 2b).

The My Open Work Orders list page is displayed. This is a list of all your open work orders. The following table includes the functions of the links in the columns on the page.

What happens when I click the link?

1. Reference Number

The work order opens in edit mode.

2. Service Request

Service Center opens in a new window where you can view the details of the SR that's associated with the work order.

3. Account

Digital Sales opens the account in the same browser window enabling you to view account details. To view the record in a new tab, just right-click and select Open in a New Tab.

4. Contact

Digital Sales opens the contact in the same browser window enabling you to view account details. To view the record in a new tab, just right-click and select Open in a New Tab.
