How You Assign Journeys

As a line manager or HR specialist, you can assign a predefined journey or a personal journey to people in your organization.

When you assign a journey, it appears on the landing page of the assignee. You can also assign the journey to yourself, if it interests you.

Assign to Others

You can assign a journey to others using Assign Journey in the journey drill-down page.

Assign to Yourself

You can also assign a journey to yourself using these methods:
  • Clicking Add to My Journeys in the journey drill-down page.
  • Starting a contextual journey from an employee self-service quick action.
Note:
  • When you assign a journey to yourself by clicking Add to My Journeys, the journey won't be visible in the Assigned Journeys tab. It will be visible only in the My Journeys tab.
  • When you start a contextual journey, the journey won’t be visible in the My Journeys or Assigned Journeys tab. The journey is available only in the context of an employee self-service quick action.
  • The display properties that are set for task performer don't apply in either of the methods.

Select Assignees

You can select these assignee types

  • Person (default option)

  • Directs of the selected person.

  • Selected person's organization, which includes the entire management hierarchy.

You can make any of these person-based selections:
