Override Pension Email Delivery Option

You can override the email delivery options for pensions automatic enrolment using extract definitions.

  1. On the Home page, click the Data Exchange quick action in the My Client Groups tab.
  2. Search for and select Extract Definitions.
  3. Set the scope to search for UK Pensions Automatic Enrolment Notification Letter Process.
    1. Click Show Filters.
    2. Select a legislative data group.
    3. Enter name as UK Pensions Automatic Enrolment Notification Letter Process.
    4. Click Search.
  4. On the Extract Definitions page, click the Advanced Edit icon.
  5. In Extract Delivery Options, click Pension Notification Letter Email.
  6. On the Extract Delivery Options page, click View > Columns. Enable the Overriding Delivery Mode option.
  7. To add a new row, click Add.
  8. Review and complete the fields as shown here:

    Field Description
    Start and End Dates Review and modify as required.
    Delivery Option Name

    Prefix the value to identify it as a custom delivery option, [PREFIX] Pension Notification Letter Email

    Report /Human Capital Management/Payroll/UK/Pensions AE Employee Letters Email.xdo
    Template name Pension Notification Letter Email
    Output Name Pension_Enrolment_Notification_Letter
    Delivery Type Email
    Required Yes
    Overriding Delivery Mode Pension Notification Letter Email
  9. Click Additional Details for the new delivery option and add details you need to send pension notification letters by email.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Review and check to see if the new delivery option is added to the hierarchy.
  12. You can now add the custom delivery option to the report category.
    1. Select the report category UK Pensions Automatic Enrolment Email.
    2. In Additional details, click Add.
    3. Search for and select the new delivery option that you created.
    4. Save your changes.
  13. Click Submit.
