Employee Self-Service

Enable the Employee Self-Service so that your employees can access their year-end documents online. Configure employee access using any of these methods:

  • Document Records

  • Responsive Pages in the Redesigned User Experience product

Using either method, employees can access their T4, T4A, RL-1, and RL-2 slips for the original, amended and canceled form types.

Note: Configure the Document Delivery Preferences in Manage Document Types for employees to view their year-end documents in employee self-service. See the Document Delivery Preferences Setup section for more details.

Access using Document Records

Employees can access their year-end documents by navigating to the Document Records.

To access the Year-End Documents in employee self-service using the Document Records:

  1. On the employee dashboard, click Me.

  2. Click Personal Information.

  3. Click My Documents.

Access using the Responsive Pages

Enable the Employee Self-Service and the responsive pages, so that your employees can use the enhanced user interface to access their year-end documents. It provides the employee easy, direct access to their year-end documents, and they need not navigate to the Document Records.

Access the documents using either Quick Actions or the Pay app, both of which are located on the employee dashboard under the Me tab. Employees can use the default search of the last 3 years, or choose to enter a specific date range.

To access the Year-End Documents in employee self-service using the Pay app:

  1. On the employee dashboard, under the Me tab, click Pay.

  2. Select Year-End Documents.

Enable Year-End Documents

To enable the Year-End Documents, enable these profile options:

  1. HCM_RESPONSIVE_PAGES_ENABLED

  2. PAY_PAYROLL_RESPONSIVE_ENABLED

Note: To enable the HCM_RESPONSIVE_PAGES_ENABLED profile option, refer these documents on My Oracle Support:HCM Responsive User Experience Setup Information- Profile Options and Displayed Fields (Document ID: 2399671.1).

To enable the PAY_PAYROLL_RESPONSIVE_ENABLED profile option:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:

    Offering: Workforce Deployment

    Functional Area: Maintain Common Reference Objects

    Task: Manage Administrator Profile Values

  2. Search for and select the profile option.

  3. Click Add to add a new Profile Value.

  4. Select Level in the Site field.

  5. Enter Y in the Profile Value field.

  6. Click Save and Close.

Note: By enabling the PAY_PAYROLL_RESPONSIVE_ENABLED profile option, you're also enabling all the payroll responsive pages that are available.
