Element Templates for UAE

You can use the specific UAE element template for the following primary classification:

• Standard Earnings
• Involuntary Deductions

Standard Earnings

When you select Standard Earnings as the primary classification:

• The application uses the standard element template when no secondary classification is selected.
• If the Other Allowances secondary classifications is selected, then allowances are created following UAE specific rules which apply to the specific allowance type.
• If you select Unpaid Leave secondary classification, the application creates the UAE specific element.

Involuntary Deductions

When you select Involuntary Deductions as the primary classification:

• If no secondary classification or End of Service Deductions secondary classification is selected, then the standard element template is followed and no specific UAE consideration is applied.
• If the Loans secondary classification is selected, then deduction element is created following Global specific rules that apply to loans.
