Oregon Portland Metro Tax
The payroll process applies this tax for employees whose resident tax or work tax address is in one of the full or partial geographies in the Metro District.
To opt an organization out of this tax:

To opt out at the payroll statutory unit (PSU) level, start the Legal Entity Calculation Cards task from your implementation project.
To opt out at the TRU level, start the Legal Reporting Unit Calculation Cards task.

Open the calculation card for editing.

In Component Groups, click the OR calculation component.
Add this component if it doesn't already exist.

In Calculation Component, select State Miscellaneous.
Add this component if it doesn't already exist.

Select Enterable Calculation Values on Calculation Cards.

Click Create.

In Display Value and Value, select the appropriate exemption values for your organization.

Exempt Metro Tax on Supplemental Wages Below Annualized Threshold

Supplemental wages are taxed on first dollar. Regular wages are taxed when the annualized amount exceeds $200,000.
