Configure Calculation Cards for Year-End Tax Forms
Use the Calculation Cards task to specify the required info about the following employee cards.

Tax Withholding Card
For statutory employees, set the following value on their Tax Withholding cards.

| Statutory Employee | Identifies an independent contractor as an employee by statute. | 
Reporting Information Card
The Reporting Information card provides additional info for employee-level state and federal reporting. Every card automatically gets the Federal calculation component when you create the card. The other components, you must define manually.
Before year-end, make sure you have configured these calculation components.

Third-Party Interfaces Calculation Component Details
This is a federal-level calculation component detail on the Reporting Information component.
It's provided by default when you create the card. ADP uses these values.

| ADP Special Processing Required | Indicates whether the employee's W-2 should be excluded from main population printing. The default is No. Note: Setting this value is required only if you're selecting

Reporting Information Calculation Component Details
This is a federal-level calculation component detail on the Reporting Information component.
It's provided by default when you create the card. Make sure you set this value, if appropriate.

| Eligible for Retirement Plan | Employee eligibility for employer-sponsored retirement plans is based on a combination of: 
 In some cases, you must manually select this value to Yes to ensure proper reporting on Form W-2. An employee is automatically marked as eligible for the retirement plan on Box 13 of their W-2 when any of the following balances has a value greater than $0.

Regional Tax Information Calculation Component
This is a regional-level calculation component.
You must create this calculation component before you can set this value.

| Part-Year Resident | Use this field to identify if an employee is a part-year resident of New York City. Selecting Yes ensures the year-end archive flow populates the actual wages earned in Box 18 on the person's W-2. Selecting No populates the wages from Box 1 on the W-2 in Box 18. Note: New York City requires wages for full-year residents to be reported as
                              federal wages from Box 1 on the W-2. Part-year resident wages must be
                              actual wages during the period they were residents of New York
                              City. |
