Considerations for Configuring the Personal Info Pages in the Transaction Design Studio

Let’s look at the key considerations when configuring these responsive pages in the Transaction Design Studio - Personal Details, Contact Info, Family and Emergency Contacts, Identification Info, and Additional Person Info.

  • You can’t use the Country parameter along with the Page Attributes but you can use the Country parameter in conjunction with the Available Attributes to show or hide, or make the fields required. This is because the Country parameter works based on the country of the record. For example, for the country of the national Identifier, visa, or passport, you can use this parameter to display different attributes per country. For the national Identifier, you can display the Expiration Date for one country but not for other countries.
  • Email and Biographical Info objects don’t have a country stripe. So, the Country parameter can’t be used even with Available Attributes for these objects.
  • You can’t configure the Name and Address regions in the Transaction Design Studio. The display of these regions is controlled by the settings specified in the Manage Person Name Styles and Manage Address Format configuration tasks. Hence, they are excluded from the Transaction Design Studio to avoid conflicts between the configuration setup and the Transaction Design Studio settings.
  • Because of the global person model, a single country setting doesn’t apply for a person.
