Map Legacy Balances for Initialization for the US

Once you have identified the balances you want to initialize, you must perform a mapping exercise from the legacy payroll system to Oracle Cloud.

Be careful when performing this exercise, as these decisions become a major factor in determining the number of iterations needed to complete the balance initialization process.

Some things to consider during this mapping activity.

• One legacy balance can feed one or more Fusion balances.

• Multiple legacy balances can feed one Fusion balance.

• Your legacy balances can come from many sources (such as a payroll system, benefits system, and absence system)

  These source-of-truth systems could be managed in-house or by an outside supplier.
