Overview

Various business processes in Oracle HCM Cloud require the ability to monitor one or more events, check if these events meet certain conditions, and then take the required action.

The Event Conditions page lets you define conditions for specific events and their associated attributes to trigger processes or actions when an event occurs in Oracle HCM Cloud. On the home page, click My Client Groups > HCM Experience Design Studio > Event Conditions to open the Event Conditions page.

Key Features

Event conditions have these key features:

• You can specify conditions based on event attributes, so the application responds to only those events that match these conditions.
• Various products in Oracle HCM Cloud can consume event conditions. Refer to the product documentation or features, if any, consuming event conditions.
• Each consuming product can associate an event condition to product-specific processes.

Security Settings

The Event Conditions page is secured with the function privilege, HRC_EVT_COND_CONFIG_PRIV, which allows configuration of event conditions. This privilege is granted by default to the Human Capital Management Application Administrator job role. No data security is required for this page.
