Configure the Web Channel for Candidate Experience

Use this procedure to configure the Web Channel SDK for the Candidate Experience skill.

You can configure the chat bot using HCM Experience Design Studio > Digital Assistant Configuration. This provides enhanced support for chat bot branding and configuration. You can also configure bot functionality (such as showing buttons as pills, playing audio, and others), layout, custom colors, and custom icons.

  1. Go to HCM Experience Design Studio in the sandbox environment.

  2. From the Navigator, select Digital Assistant Configuration.

  3. Select Candidate Experience from the Digital Assistant drop-down.

  4. The Server URL of the ODA instance where the Oracle Web Channel is configured is populated automatically. This usually doesn't need to be changed.

  5. Paste the Web Channel Id that was generated while creating the web channel in ODA.

  6. Specify other web channel preferences in the Features and Functionality Configuration section.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Select Publish to publish the configuration changes.
