Override Pay Bands for Pay Data Reporting

States periodically update the pay band rates for their pay data reporting, and Oracle delivers these updates through statutory patches. If these changes come too late in the year for Oracle to capture the change, you must manually enter them as overrides.

To override the pay band ranges:

  1. From My Client Groups, click Show More.

  2. In Payroll, click Calculation Value Definitions.

  3. Select your US legislative data group (LDG).

  4. Search for and select the calculation value definition you want to update.

    This is Pay Data Reporting Pay Bands prefaced with the state abbrevation, such as CA Pay Data Reporting Pay Bands.

    The Calculation Values table displays the pay band ranges and names.

  5. Click Add Row.

  6. In Text, enter name of the pay band you are overriding.

  7. In From Value and To Value, enter the new range.

    Note: Pay bands can't overlap their ranges. For example, if you change To Value for B1, you must change From Value for B2.
  8. Click Submit when finished.
