School District Income Taxes

For states that levy school district income taxes, you have to manually populate the school district on the Tax Withholding card.

Depending on the state, you enter the school district under either the City or County node:

  1. In My Client Groups, click Payroll.

  2. Click Calculation Cards.

  3. Search for and select the person.

  4. Open their Tax Withholding card for editing.

  5. Select Update from the Action menu.

  6. In Calculation Card Overview, select the appropriate regional node.

  7. To make the employee exempt from this tax, set Exempt from School District to Yes.

  8. Click Save and Close.
