1099-R

These are the tax forms you distribute to your retirees at year end. They include details of the earnings and taxes paid by the person for a given year.

To capture this data and submit it to the IRS, use the Oracle Fusion Third-Party Quarterly Tax Filing Extract. This extract generates and submits the tax info to a third-party reporting provider, such as ADP, and they forward it to the proper tax authorities.

Employers Annual Federal Unemployment Tax Return

This is a tax form you issue to the IRS at year end. It reports the employer's contribution to the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA). Also known as Form 940.

To capture this data and submit it to the IRS, use the Oracle Fusion Third-Party Quarterly Tax Filing Extract. This extract generates and submits the tax info to a third-party reporting provider, such as ADP, and they forward it to the proper tax authorities.

EFW2 and EFW2PR files

These are the files you submit electronically to the Social Security Administration (SSA), state, territory, county, and city authorities.

To report the year-end info to the SSA and appropriate regional authorities, use the Oracle Fusion Third-Party Quarterly Tax Filing Extract. This extract generates and submits the tax info to a third-party reporting provider, such as ADP, and they forward it to the proper tax authorities.

EFW2c and EFW2cPR files

These are the files you create if changes are required after you have submitted the employee tax info to the SSA or third-party tax filing provider. They include details on the changes made to a previously reported year-end form.

To report the W-2c info to the SSA and appropriate regional authorities, use the Oracle Fusion Third-Party Quarterly Tax Filing Extract. This extract generates an updated tax info file suitable for submission to a third-party reporting provider. Based on the content of the file and the date submitted, the provider determines what changes were made and files the proper amended tax returns.

W-2PR Employee Report

These are the tax forms you distribute to the employees at year end. They include details of the earnings and taxes paid by the employee for a given year.

The W-2 Employee Report flow creates a PDF document based on archived data and stores it in the Document Records. Employees can view their Forms W-2, W-2GU, and W-2PR through their Me page. They can also elect to receive a printed copy. Managers and professional users can access employee forms through the Document Records task.

You can outsource the printing of these forms to a third-party, such as ADP or MasterTax. These providers use the data you provide in the fourth quarter tax file. Refer to their documentation for details.

W-2cPR Employee Report

These are the corrected tax forms you distribute to employees if changes or corrections were made after submitting their tax info to the SSA or third-party tax filing provider. They include details on the changes made to the previously reported W-2 or W-2c.

Employees can view their Forms W-2c, W-2cGU, and W-2cPR through their Me page. They can also elect to receive a printed copy.

Managers and professional users can access these forms through the Document Records task.
