How You Review Automatically Submitted Post Processes
After a successful data migration or incremental update, post processes are configured to run and complete the setup of some business objects. This topic explains how to monitor and review the statuses of the business object post processes.
Monitor and review the status of the business object post processes
After you submit a data set through the Import and Load Data page, select the data set and click Review Processes.
- For each of the business object, the corresponding post processes, configured on the Business Object Post Processes page, is listed as an individual line item under Manage HCM Data Loader Post Processes entry.
- You can view the processing status, submission time, finish time, elapsed time, and access the log file for the post process.
- If a business object has more than one configured post processes and even if one of them has ended in an error, then the post processing status for the business object as a whole is Error.
The overall post process processing status for an import is indicated by the Status column in the Data Sets and Business Objects tables on the Import and Load Data page.
The table here lists the various post processes status and its meaning:

Monitor and review the status of the data set post processes
After you submit a data set through the Import and Load Data page, select the data set file and click Review Processes.
- The post processes configured on the Data Set Post Processes page is listed as an individual line item. For example: You can find the Oracle Search Bulk Ingestion post process under Update Oracle Search Indexes with HCM Data Loader Changes entry.
- You can view the processing status, submission time, finish time, elapsed time, and access the log file for the post process.
- Click Refresh to see updated status of the data set post process.
