Benefits Work Areas

You can perform tasks in several work areas depending on your role. If you're someone who's setting up benefits, such as programs and plans, you use the Plan Configuration work area. If you're managing benefits enrollments for individual employees, use the Enrollment work area.

This figure shows the work areas where Benefits user roles perform tasks. The Benefits Administrator first performs tasks in the Plan Configuration work area. The Benefits Manager, Benefits Specialist, and Benefits Administrator roles then perform tasks in the Enrollment work area. The Benefits Manager and Benefits Specialist then perform tasks in the Evaluation and Reporting work area.
