Example to Update User Defined Tables for Managing Default Values

This example illustrates how to update user defined tables for managing China delivered default values.

You can update the user defined tables to calculate the daily rate using the number of pay days within a pay period or a custom value.

  1. From your home page, navigate to My Client Groups > Quick Actions > Show More > User-Defined Tables task.

  2. In the search region, provide China in the name attribute, specify your China legislative data group, and click Search.

  3. In the search results region, click on the returned result: China Default Values. Click Edit.

  4. Check the Effective As-of Date on the screen. Change it to the date your new record will be effective from, if required.

    Click Next.

  5. Click Create. Select the Average Number of Paid Days Per Month in the pop-up window. Click OK.

  6. Specify a value in the Value column. Click Save.

    Note: For calculating the Number of Paid Days Per Month, you must specify a negative value in the Value column. Example: -1.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 to create values for Number of working hours per working day and any additional values, if required.

  8. Click Submit to create all values.
