V3 Seniority Dates Profile Options

For version 3 (V3) seniority dates, you can configure multiple seniority dates. However, for V1 seniority dates, only enterprise and legal employer seniority dates are available.

In the scenario where you want to identify two V3 seniority rules (enterprise and legal employer), these profile options can be used. The profile options indicate which V3 seniority rules should be considered as enterprise and legal employer seniority dates for use by other products and downstream or external applications. For example, the compensation product uses this mapping.

Note: You must configure these profile options only if you're using V3 seniority dates.

Use the Manage Administrator Profile Values task in the Setup and Maintenance work area to manage profile options. You can configure these V3 seniority dates-related profile options as required, to meet your enterprise requirements:

Select the seniority rule for this profile option that you want to map as the enterprise seniority date for V3 seniority dates. If you don't set any value for the profile option, the compensation product uses the Enterprise Seniority Date - Person Level - Migrate seniority rule (created during V1 seniority dates migration).

Legal Employer Seniority Date - Work Relationship

Select the seniority rule for this profile option that you want to map as the legal employer seniority date for V3 seniority dates. If you don't set any value for the profile option, the compensation product uses the Legal Employer Seniority Date - Work Relationship Level - Migrate seniority rule (created during V1 seniority dates migration).
