Define Legal Entities for Kuwait
When you're all set to define legal entities, it's a good idea to consider the context in which the legal entity is used. There are no predefined legal entities.
Before You Start
Before you define a legal entity, here are a few things you must define:

Legislative data group

Legal addresses for the legal entity you want to create

Create Legal Entities
To define legal entities from the Setup and Maintenance work area:

Go to:

Offering: Workforce Deployment

Functional Area: Legal Structures
-
Task: Manage Legal Entity HCM Information

On the Select Scope page, select Manage Legal Entity.

Click Create New in legal entity.

Click Apply and Go to Task.

Click Create.

Select the country as Kuwait.

Enter the name and a unique identifier for the legal entity.

Select the Payroll statutory unit check box.
If a legal entity isn't designated as a legal employer, you can select an existing payroll statutory unit (PSU) to which it belongs. Else, you can designate it as a payroll statutory unit.

Select the Legal employer check box.

In the Registration Information section, the identifying jurisdiction is predefined as Kuwait Social Insurance. Select the legal address.

Enter the Social Insurance Number and the Legal Reporting Unit Registration Number that are required for registration with the predefined identifying jurisdiction.

Click Save and Close.
