Points to Consider
  • For payments to be made in a different currency:
    • You need to define the daily rates and payment methods (OPM and PPM) for the required currencies. Payments will be processed under the current LDG using these payment method.
    • Since the EFT doesn't contain details for the currency, the EFT template may need to be modified to include currency.
  • For payroll calculation:
    • You will need to create separate elements for each currency, with the input currency as the currency required. The output currency will automatically be the base currency of the LDG.
    • The payroll process will convert the input currency to the output currency during the payroll process, and the run results will be based on the output currency.
    • Net pay is calculated and reported as output currency.
    • The currency of any balances created by the element template are based on the output currency.
    • The prepayments process converts the net pay figure based on the currency defined in the OPM.
    • Statutory reporting will always be in the base currency of the LDG.
