Court Order Element for Qatar

You can create the Court Order element for Qatar by assigning the primary classification as Involuntary Deduction and the secondary classification as court order.

The element that's created through the element template is the court order element. Multiple court order elements can be created if the enterprise has several types of deductions.

You can enter the input data that's needed to perform the deduction calculations though card component details in the calculation card.

Related formulas, Related Formulas and Related Balances are generated by the element template when creating the element
Note: Element eligibility needs to be defined so that the element is linked to an element entry.
  1. In the Element Overview panel, select Actions, and Create Element Eligibility.
  2. On the Element Eligibility page, enter a name in the Element Eligibility Name field and click Submit.
  3. Court order deduction is triggered for an employee by adding calculation card for element classified as court order
The following points need to be considered while entering data:
  • Effective Start Date: Date on which the court order deduction will start.
  • Effective End Date: End date of the element entry (if the element is recurring) indicating the last period when the deduction must be recovered.
  • Period Type: Indicates the frequency with which the value entered in the amount field recurs. Typically it's either Calendar Month or Annually.
  • Amount: Indicates the amount to be deducted for the instance of court order. If period type is Calendar Month, then the amount is deducted monthly. If the period type is Annually, then the monthly deduction is equal to the Amount divided by 12.
