Create an Allowance Element for Qatar

This example describes how you can create an allowance element for children allowance.

  1. Select Elements in the Payroll Calculation work area.
  2. On the Elements page, click Create.
  3. On the Create Element window, select the LDG, primary classification, and the secondary classification, and then click Continue.
  4. Complete the fields at the top of the Create Element page, and then answer the questions.
  5. Click Next and complete the rest of the questionnaire.
  6. Verify the information and click Submit to create the new element.
  7. On the Element Summary page, check information such as input values, processing rules, and formulas.
    Note: Input values have been created for this element to receive information needed to calculate the value of the allowance.
  8. Use the Element Overview panel to navigate through the setup pages. In the Element Overview panel, select Actions, and Create Element Eligibility.
    Note: Element eligibility must be defined so that the element is linked to an element entry.
  9. On the Element Eligibility page, enter a name in the Element Eligibility Name field and click Submit.
  10. The Related Formulas link shows the formulas connected to the elements that were automatically generated by the template.
  11. Navigate to the Fast Formulas link to verify if the newly created formula is compiled. If not, you can compile it now.
