Generate Data Dictionary Time Attributes

After you complete the payroll and absence setup tasks, you need to run the Generate Data Dictionary Time Attributes process to create these attributes:

• Payroll-dependent attributes for all element input values, such as rate, rate code, state, city, and public holidays
• Payroll costing attributes

The process also updates the HWM_GENERATE_TIME_ATTR_DFF descriptive flexfield with the new and revised attributes. Here's how you also make these attributes available in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI):

• Confirm that this flexfield has Deployment Status selected.
• Run the Import Oracle Fusion Data Extensions for Transactional Business Intelligence process.

You also need to run the Generate Data Dictionary Time Attributes process after changing any time elements. Changes include adding or deleting elements, editing input values, or editing element eligibility records. If you don't run the process, you might negatively affect these actions:

• Setup of time card fields
• Validation of payroll time types
• Transfer of time to payroll

Currently, this process doesn't create any attributes for project costing time.
