Salary Frequency Change and Simple Components

When you change from a salary basis with a monthly frequency to a salary basis with an annual frequency, the prior component amounts adjust automatically.

The current monthly amounts get converted to prior annual amounts. And these annual amounts become the default proposed amounts and annual amounts. This way values set for simple components of a salary basis configuration carry forward to the simple components of another salary basis.

The salary section of the Change Salary action where the current salary component amounts are for a monthly frequency. The basic salary amount is 5,000. The housing allowance amount is 2,500. The travel allowance amount is 1,600. The city allowance amount is 500. And the overall salary amount is 9,600. The prior amounts of the proposed salary were automatically adjusted to annual amounts. The prior basic salary amount is 60,000. The prior housing allowance amount is 30,000. The prior travel allowance amount is 19,200. The prior city allowance amount is 6,000. And the prior overall salary amount is 115,200.
